The SkyEnergy AI site (https://skyenergyai.com) uses only the cookies and browser storage it cannot work without. There are no advertising cookies, visitor counters or third-party scripts.

1. Cookies we use

Signing in to the account. Protected (HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax), kept for 30 days and extended while in use; removed on sign-out.

__Host-skyenergy_reg

Sign-up: links e-mail confirmation to the browser you signed up in. Protected, kept for 30 minutes.

theme

The chosen colour theme (system, light or dark), so the page opens in it right away. Kept for a year.

tz

Your time zone offset — so the greeting matches the time of day. Kept for a year.

cookie_notice

That you have accepted the use of cookies (the “Accept” button in the notice) — so the notice is not shown again. Kept for a year.

2. Browser storage

Until a question reaches the server (for example, when the network drops), it is kept in the storage of the current tab (sessionStorage) and sent again. This storage is cleared when the tab is closed and on sign-out.

3. Consent and control

3.1. These cookies are strictly necessary for the site to work, so no separate consent is required: on the first visit the site shows a notice about them, and “Accept” hides it. If analytics or other optional cookies are ever added, the site will ask for consent first and will not use them before that.

3.2. Cookies can be deleted or blocked in the browser settings; without the session cookie it is not possible to sign in.
